The job grading structure for primary education shows all potential positions at Esprit primary schools. Each school is free to determine which positions to fill.

A job description lays down the tasks, responsibilities and powers associated with a particular position in generic terms. Positions are evaluated based on the job evaluation framework for primary education. Like that for other education sectors, this framework is based on Fuwasys, the job evaluation framework of the central government. For the majority of the positions, we use the model job descriptions drawn up by the parties to the collective labour agreement.

Job descriptions are not just an instrument to evaluate jobs; they also provide guidance and clarity to the organisation and employees about the tasks, responsibilities and powers associated with a job.
