Internal Confidential Counsellors
Parents and pupils can turn to the internal confidential counsellor of their own school. Contact details of the internal confidential advisor can be found on the website of the relevant school.
Esprit Scholen considers it of great importance that the internal confidential advisers work well together and the external confidential advisers in order to deliver optimal quality in the field of social safety. More information about the tasks and powers of the internal and external confidential advisor can be found in the complaints procedure.
Employees of Esprit Schools can address themselves directly to the external confidential advisers.
External Confidential Counsellors
Everywhere where people come together, they can suffer from inappropriate behaviour and violations of integrity. Examples of this are bullying, discrimination, (sexual)intimidation and misuse of power.
Often the matter can be resolved by talking to each other, perhaps with the help of third person, such as the line manager, the teacher of the mentor. Sometimes that is not enough.
Staff members of the Esprit schools can consult the external confidential advisor. The Esprit Schools have explicitly chosen to appoint two external confidential advisors, a man and a woman. This, on the basis of advice from the Board of Governors, the Management Team and the General Participation Council.

The solution often does not lie in sticking to one's own law, but in the nuance and the shared interest. He also has that experience as chairman of objection and dispute committees. Herman deals with complaints about inappropriate behavior and acts as a mediator.
